About the Founder
Jim McConaghy
Jim is a U.S. Army Green Beret veteran, lifelong entrepreneur, and former sign company owner who has worked with hundreds of small businesses over five decades.
He understands firsthand how missed calls, inconsistent follow-up, and limited availability impact real operations—not in theory, but in practice.
With a background spanning hands-on business ownership and technology, Jim built HelloEZ to solve a simple problem well: ensuring every caller is handled professionally, every time.
The Original Helen
In the mid-1950s, the founder's mother, Helen, worked as a PBX operator for Sun Oil Company.
The picture you see here shows her at her then–state-of-the-art switchboard, where she spent countless shifts connecting callers by hand.
Every cord she plugged in was a conversation waiting to happen.
Every ring was someone who needed help.
